One week to go!!!!

Hi Everyone! Just one week to go, we are excitedly making final preparations and looking forward to a great weekend seeing you all in Gilford. We just wanted to share a few important reminders and last minute details with everyone.

Ceremony

The ceremony will be outdoors weather permitting, so please check the forecast and dress accordingly. In the event of rain, we will move everything inside the yacht club, but let's hope for sunny skies and calm winds!

 

Parking/Transportation

Those of you staying at the Silver Sands Motel and Misty Harbor Resort, it is approximately 1/2-mile to the Yacht Club. There is no sidewalk along Rt 11B, but once you reach Dockham Shore Rd, it is a much quieter road. If you choose to drive, there is ample parking at the Yacht Club, please look for the parking signs off the right side of the driveway as you pull in, which will lead you to the grass parking area. Lastly, you can always call a local cab from Laconia.

Safety

Lastly, there will be concerts both nights at the Bank of NH Pavilion right down the street: Don Henley Friday night and Dropkick Murphy's Saturday. The concerts will create a lot more congestion in the area, especially around 6-7pm when doors open and 10-11pm when the concert ends. Please be careful during these times, especially Saturday night after the wedding!

 

Friday Night

For those of you arriving to the Lakes Region Friday, we would like to meet up with everyone for a few pre-wedding drinks at Patrick's Irish Pub and Eatery. It's right around the corner from the Yacht Club, we'll plan on 7pm at Patrick's Pub for those of you in town.
